From Diagnosis to Development
Our services are tailored to the scale, needs and stage of development of each organisation and can combine three connected forms of support.
Through an Analytical Performance Review, we assess a selected body of analytical output to identify recurring strengths, weaknesses, patterns and development priorities. Reviews may focus on a particular publication stream, team or period, or provide a broader picture of organisational analytical performance.
Findings can then inform a Tailored Analytical Development Workshop, designed around patterns identified in the organisation’s own work. We also offer a Core Analytical Development Workshop as a standalone programme for organisations seeking to strengthen foundational analytical capabilities without a prior assessment.
For organisations pursuing longer-term development, the Analytical Excellence Partnership supports periodic reassessment, monitoring of analytical performance, stronger review practices and internal standards, organisational learning, and strategic development of analytical capability over time.

A Purpose-Built Diagnostic Environment
EAA is operationalised through the Analysis Typology Coder (ATC), our proprietary software environment for structured analytical assessment. ATC translates our conceptual framework and methodological protocols into a consistent assessment process, supporting systematic coding, documented judgement, comparison across outputs and cumulative analysis.
ATC is not a generic AI writing, summarisation or sentiment-analysis tool. It is purpose-built to examine the underlying structure and character of substantive analytical work and to support expert judgement rather than replace it.
